David Paris – Managing Director
David has over twenty-nine years of experience in the receivables management industry. He began his career as a Vice President of Retail Collections at Great Lakes Collection Bureau. Several years later, he was part of the start-up team responsible for the creation of Receivable Services of America. Then, in 1997, David and his partners formed Zenith Acquisition Corporation, where he served as its CEO for sixteen years. During that time, he oversaw Zenith’s transition from a start-up to a leader in the debt buying industry, with Zenith purchasing over 9 billion in assets through 300 transactions from major lenders.
Additionally, he kept Zenith on the forefront of compliance and customer service and served for nine years on the Board of Directors for RMA International in various capacities ranging from Chairman of the State Legislative Committee, Secretary, and President-Elect. In 2017, David shifted his professional focus to finance, joining CMAX, LLC, a specialty finance company focused on distressed asset markets, as its Chief Marketing Officer. During his tenure at CMAX, David managed the firm’s rebranding, managed borrower relationships, as well as the firm’s growth and the deployment of over $67 million dollars in more than 250 funding’s. Today David is Managing Director of Heritage Global Capital, a specialty finance company and a division of Heritage Global Inc. He is also currently Chairman of the ACA Asset Buyers Committee.
